How to use your cake toppers
Please store your topper in the zip lock bag provided. Store away from extremes of temperature or high humidity. Best to store in a dry cool cupboard.
Your topper will stay fresh for approximately 6 months from purchase if stored correctly.
Cake toppers work well on most cake coverings including fondant icing, buttercream icing, glaced icing and chocolate.
The covering on the cake should not be dry or crusted,if it is apply a light mist of water to slightly dampen the cake but dont soak/
If your topper is a circle and requires cutting, please remove from the backing sheet and cut with dry sharp scissors.
Icing toppers are on backing sheets that should be peeled off before placing the topper on the cake. Press flat on the cake until there are no wrinkles or bubbles. If you have problems with the topper peeling off the backing sheet just place in the fridge for a minute or two then peel off.
Wafer paper is ready to cut or use as it is not on a backing sheet. It should be applied to the cake in the same way as the icing topper.
